Filler kaolins for your paper

Our filler kaolin products for the paper industry are produced by the company Amberger Kaolinwerke at the sites of Hirschau-Schnaittenbach and the subsidiary company Caminauer Kaolinwerk GmbH in Saxony. There the Quarzwerke Group has deposits with reserves for many decades and state-of-the-art production facilities that have long since made us a reliable partner of the paper industry. Our primary deposits have kaolins with a pronounced lamellar structure that are used as filler kaolins. By this means we facilitate very high smoothness values and reduce the penetration of printing ink. For this reason our filler kaolins are used mainly in the gravure printing paper segment, but also wherever 'coating from the inside' is the important factor.
